Volunteering & Pro-Bono
Through our partnership with the Thornhill School Foundation, our staff volunteer and run a five week enrichment program at the local Thornhill Primary School. The program takes the form of work-related community participation as well as personal, social and emotional development. As part of this, 15 school children are brought to our office to engage with and better understand the law. We also sponsor the school’s charity events, including fundraising for a new library.

Fundraising
We are a proud supporter of Islington NSPCC having run marathons for them and more recently having two partners sitting on their committee and helping to organise various events. As part of our ongoing work with the charity, the firm makes a donation of £5 for every client questionnaire that is returned.
This is an initiative driven by the charity Samaritan’s Purse to provide shoeboxes filled with toys to a child living in poverty stricken communities in Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. We held a reception at our offices for our staff, the local business community and our clients to get stuck in with packing and wrapping over a hundred shoe boxes filled with gifts for children across the world to open at Christmas. All gifts were donated by Bolt Burdon, our staff and contacts.
