I am an Senior Associate Solicitor in the Wealth and Estate Planning team at Bolt Burdon and I have been advising on private client issues for over ten years. Prior to that I practiced in property law for several years. I have a particular interest in trusts and tax planning and I enjoy nothing more than getting to grips with a complex tax issue! I am regularly instructed to deal with estates with a foreign aspect and I am able to work collaboratively with lawyers in other jurisdictions, particularly France.
I am an excellent communicator, who gets on well with colleagues and clients alike. Previously, I have run legal advice clinics and training sessions at local carers’ centres, as well writing articles for publication and lecturing at carers’ events. I am a fully accredited member of Solicitors of the Elderly and I am also a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
I am interested in B Corp and the progressive advisor’s movement, which aim to use business as a force for good and enable broader conversations about wealth and estate planning.
I always manage to cram a great deal into my week and when not working I enjoy going to the gym, cycling, music, theatre, and film.
